Thanksgiving Celebration

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle, yeah.

LMFAO

Happy Thanksgiving! At our house, we like to celebrate Thanksgiving year-round with a celebratory turkey in our home office/man cave.

I hope everyone got to spend the holiday with people they are thankful for and eat yummy food too! Since we were traveling for the holiday, I did not have time to contribute much to our two family meals. I opted for bringing a simple cheese and cracker spread.

I bought some fig jam, cranberry cheese, Brie cheese, and 34 Degrees Natural Crispbread crackers. I love how lite the crackers are with the heavy cheese.

I set out some crackers with melted Brie and fig jam on top.

It was super easy and a perfect thing to kick off any party, kind of like the vegetable tray we started out munching on.

Ooh…or the spinach dip…

But long before we started our Thanksgiving dinner, we began the day with some bloody marys (the cure all fix to a long night of celebration).

When Thanksgiving comes to my mind I think of Founder’s Day (which we should be celebrating according to my father and brother), reflecting on all the things I am thankful for, my family, beautiful Fall table settings…

Anything made with sweet potato…

Plates with little room to spare…

Horsing around with nephews…

A jello mold that does not come wrapped as a gift or does…

And all things pumpkin…

Holidays are so special from the traditions passed down, to the people you celebrate them with.

What are your family traditions?
