Sally’s Pins

To live a creative life we must loose our fear of being wrong.

JOSEPH CHILTON PEARCE

To try and stop the tears from flowing after seeing The Vow tonight, I wanted to share my pins for the week. Thank you Lindsey for remembering to bring Kleenex. For some reason I thought it was going to be all about the love, not bawl your eyes out depressing. It is quite thought provoking so definitely go see it, and while you are at it check out these finds from the week…

Scallops: I think scallops are the strangest food I typically eat, but for some reason I keep coming back to them. I need to stop drooling over this amazing green sauce and scallop combination.

Elephant Nightlight: elephants are my jam. I want all things elephant…including this nightlight to guide me through the night skies.

Spring Outfit: depending on the day it feels like winter or spring here. I vote for spring, so I can wear this outfit all the time.

Project Enhancer: who would have thought to use pushpins to avoid having newspaper all over your art project? Thankfully, someone did so now I can avoid this with all future projects.

Grown-up Twister: I’m feeling good and I think a nice round of twister would be perfect to test my flexibility skills.

Entryway: There isn’t one thing about this room that I don’t like. Is there a way to transport it to my house and switch my color scheme to gray? Yes, please…

Cupcakes: if salted caramel is an option when I am picking out cupcakes, I have to get it. The saltiness is so good with the sweet frosting.

Crab Cake Sliders: get in my belly! Open faced sandwich are so tasty, but with a crab cake on top, OMG!

Hash Browns: Rachel Ray totally made these this week, and I want to try her method.

Coconut Curry Noodles: I could eat curry everyday. I could also eat noodles everyday, so I probably should eat this everyday.

Memory Wall: I love the consistent white frames in this memory wall. I also really like the gray. What a perfect combination!

Dips: I could eat dip all day long, and I am so excited about this blog because of all the different dip variations.

Tiramisu Shooters: I blogged about my love of shooters yesterday, but really they are wonderful for a party.

Wedding: Can one of my friends please get married here so I can stare at the breathtaking views instead of their vows?

Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies: green beer used to be my favorite thing about St. Patrick’s Day, but now it might be these cookies.

Favorite Party Date: This shot is from my freshman year of college when Chris drove in from Nebraska to go with me to my date party.

Why are goods by ship called cargo and goods by car called shipment?
