Pippin + Pearl Decorator Challenge

And above all watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you, because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.

RONALD DAHL

I had so much fun designing a room on Polyvore for the Pippin + Pearl Decorator Challenge, I decided to design a few more. Erin is allowing contestants to enter up to five designs for a chance to win one of her paintings. Here are the rules for the contest. Here is a link to the first room I designed.

For my next design I wanted to create a memory wall around the painting. I chose a theme of black frames, so I tried to vary what was in each frame having a few family pictures along with complimenting artwork. I also threw in some variance with a monogram letter and a bronzed deer head.

I designed a bedroom for my next entry. I am obsessed with this light fixture from Ikea. With the light’s atypical design, I wanted to have structure using matching night stands, mirrors, and lamps.

I also like the idea of putting the painting in a home office to help peak creativity!

The Pippin + Pearl Decorator Challenge is accepting entries until April 2nd, so if you have not designed a room yet, there is still time.

Have you designed anything on Polyvore?
