Low-Calorie Pepper Jelly Spread

You are far too smart to be the only thing standing in your way.

One of my favorite indulgent treats is Brie with Pepper Jelly on top. I do not even want to try and calculate the calorie load of that warm, melted goodness. Instead I decided to come up with a lightened version.

Low-Calorie Pepper Jelly Spread

Ingredients:

2 Wasa Light Rye Crispbread Pieces

1 wedge The Laughing Cow Light Creamy Swiss Cheese

1 Tablespoon Tabasco Peppery Jelly

Directions:

1. Divide cheese in half and spread over crackers.

2. Top with pepper jelly.

3. Enjoy!

This spread has all the same flavors of the original, but only a fraction of the calories. Both crackers together only have 130 calories.

I like to get a lot of bang for my buck, or in this case, a lot of food for my calories. This satisfies all my cravings when I need a sweet treat.

This treat hits all the right notes with savory, sweet, and spice. Yummy!

All three of these ingredients are really staples when trying to slash the calories.

I mean 35 calories for a whole wedge of cheese!

The Laughing Cow has also came out with a cream cheese wedge, which might be even better in this case.
