My good friend and partner in crime, Mel, and I did a pub-crawl of sorts on Saturday, hitting up all our favorite local spots.

Trying to find ways to become better oriented in her new city, Mel found a great program called Keep It Local. Their mission is To give people the tools and incentives they need to find and support independent, locally-owned businesses. With the purchase of a $10 card you get discounts at featured retailers. Score!
