There’s no such thing as being too busy. If you really want something you’ll make time for it.
A few weeks ago, I shared a must read on my Sally’s Pins Sunday edition. At the time, I had no idea what 50 Shades of Grey was about. I just knew that Oklahoma could not keep it on the shelves. Well I finally purchased the book through iTunes, and I wish I would have known what I was getting into. The Today show dubbed the book as “Housewife Porn,” and it is a pretty decent description. It is definitely a more mature version of the Twilight series.
Needless to say, I could not put it down this weekend, choosing to read it over surfing Pinterest. I finally managed to post my favorite find this week for this week’s edition of Sally’s Pins.
Pear Pancetta Crisps with Goat Cheese and Honey: These probably taste even better than they look, and they would easy set out for a party. Perfect!
Strawberry Watermelon Cooler: I could drink this all summer, and since it already feels like summer in Oklahoma now, I guess I should try it out.
Glitter Heel Fix: I have so many shoes I could save by doing this!
The Stem by Timothy Houle: This tool looks so easy to use, and with the even distribution of the spray mist there is no need to toss. How great would this be to use as salad dressing?
DIY Lined Cabinets: Fun fabric inside of the cabinets. Perfect way to add a splash of color to a kitchen.
Portobello and Peach Burger: Can you tell I am ready for summer? I want to sit outside and eat all things grilled. This is a fun twist for a savory sweet burger.
Wine Holding Chair: Shouldn’t ever chair be required to have this? What a perfect chair to enjoy a book and glass of wine in.
Beachy Hair Wave: Get the look of beach hair effortlessly. Yes, please!
Zebra iPad Cover: Zebras!!! I love the color options and patter of this cover. They are so unique and fun.
Lemon Champagne Celebration Cupcakes: I love anything lemon, but especially when it is in a cake. This is a Betty Crocker recipe, so I bet I could handle it!
Coral Dresser: I heart painted furniture! I am really digging the coral color and painted knobs in this piece.
Bora Bora Dinning Room: Can you even imagine? How amazing would that be to have the cool waves at your feet while enjoying a nice meal!
Style Bulletin Board for Closet: I need one of these for my closet to inspire outfits. It is nice you can hide it behind clothes or leave out to see daily.
Bedroom: I love the use of full-length mirrors paneling the bed in this design. I am also partial to the headboard and pop of color here.
Young House Love Busted: When embarrassing moments from your past resurface. This blog made me die laughing. It happens to the best of us.
I promise to try and put my book down this week and get some yummy posts out there!
What is your most embarrassing moment that has resurfaced?
Mine would be a ridiculous music video my friends and I made in high school.
