I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it’s the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It’s probably the most important thing in a person.

My family pulled a fast one on my this last weekend. I knew that they were coming down to stay for the night, but what I did not know is that they were planning on bringing a party with them. They came with the full intent to throw Chris and I a baby shower.

Who was involved in pulling off this elaborate scheme???

They did not just stop at decorations and presents for the celebration. They also brought along a feast that included the cutest baby face cupcakes!

In full baby shower style, the guests each decorated a bib for the little guy. My mom, being the artist that she is, made a colorful camo version to please my hunter-loving husband.

They went above and beyond when it came to the gifts. Not having found time to register, they brought me items that they knew would please any baby. From books to bath toys, they supplied us with a range of items that will promote stimulation for the baby. There were even a few items that had everyone laughling out loud, like Goodnight iPad book from my aunt and the Pee-Pee Teepees that my mom’s friend, Carolyn, sent down from Kansas. For anyone needing ideas for baby showers or items to add to their registery, I would highly recommend all of these things.

I could not have asked for a more special surprise! I am so grateful for the love of my family. If there is one thing for sure, there is a lot of peole that love this little guy already!
