Sally’s Pins

Dreams don’t work unless you do.

Can you believe it is already October? Even though everywhere I look I am surrounded by Fall inspirations, from pumpkin decorations to pumpkin delights, I still feel like summer just ended. It felt weird putting up my Fall wreath this weekend, but, at the same time, I was so excited for it to make its come back. Now I just need to get started on my pumpkin display. Until then, here is this week’s edition of Sally’s Pins:

Chocolate Chip Salted Caramel Cookie Bars: If there was a place to buy these, I would hope in my car right now just to taste the caramel dripping out of those bars.

Subway Tile: I love the timeless look of subway tile. With the mix of open shelving and tile to the ceiling, this kitchen is breathtaking in its simplicity.

39 Meals to Make in 30-Minutes of Less: By the time I get off work, I am too tired for any meal that takes more than 30 minutes to make. I love just being able to glance at these inspirations to choose the perfect weekly menu.

Letter Art: Since the Zinc Letters from Anthropology run $18 a pop, I think I will be substituting these simple DIY ones instead for the nursery.

Pumpkin Better Than… Cake: One of my co-workers made a Better Than… Cake last week, and I could not get enough of the creamy flavors. Adding pumpkin to the mix can only make this cake even more delectable.

Abstract Art DIY: I love the finished look of the easy DIY abstract art, and it actually looks like something that would not be to difficult to attempt. Now I just need to find the perfect place in my home and bring in some color inspiration.

Crispy Quinoa Sliders: Creamy avocado mixed with crispy quinoa patties, sign me up! They may look too cute to eat, but there is no way I could pass on these little guys.

Cozy Corner: This corner is so perfect that I cannot even pick my favorite part. The gray and yellow color combination is so soothing that it draws me in, but the wall gallery, including the framed faux deer, head is beyond perfect.

Simple Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifles: I think I could eat pumpkin everyday, especially if it came in a form of cheesecake. These trifles are stunning!

40 Books That You Won’t Be Able To Put Down: Reading for fun has been put on my back burner with so many baby book options to get through. One day it would be nice to start in on this collection.

100 Days of No Processed Foods: Staying away from processed foods is totally doable with a little bit of planning and preparation. Using this guide, I would love to shoot for 100 days without it.

Steve Madden Studded Flats: Being a girl that loves heels, I admit I have not worn them in a few months. My go-to option these days are definitely flats, but that does not mean they have to be boring.

33 Gourmet Cupcakes: Are you kidding me! With 33 gourmet cupcakes and their full recipes, how can I pick just one?

Bright Blazer: I have been spending a lot of time in dresses these days, but I cannot wait to break out my fall blazers. Just because they no longer button, does not mean that they are not my perfect piece to dress up my bump.

Pumpkin Muffins: I have yet to try the cream cheese stuffed muffins that call my name every time I go to Starbucks, but now that I have a recipe, I cannot wait to make these babies.

What is your favorite pumpkin item from Starbucks?
