28 Week Bump

I pulled on the same pair of shorts two days in a row. One day they fit snuggly on my belly, and the next day they were sitting much lower. It is crazy how much bigger I get as the days go on. It is also kind of scary since I still have three months left! Here’s what I’m looking like today.
How Far Along: 28 Weeks
Total Weight Gain: 27 pounds
Food Cravings: After eating at The Mule this last weekend, a fancy grilled cheese restaurant, I am dying to find a time to go back. The sandwiches were top notch, but I really loved the tomato soup!
What I Miss: Being able to squeeze through small spaces. I swear I find myself sandwiched between cars, shopping carts, and even people trying not to bump into them.
Symptoms: No new pregnancy symptoms this weeks, but the iron pills are bringing on a whole new storm of problems. Yeah, we won’t go into that…
Baby Movement: My daily advice, from my pregnancy app, was to start counting my baby’s kicks after I eat dinner. It has a kick counter feature where I tap the screen every time the baby moves. Still not sure how long I am supposed to do this for, but it sounds kind of intense.
Maternity Attire: I love, love, love my new maternity clothes! The Gap Maternity line seems to be the perfect solution to my ever-increasing size. I especially love their Supersoft Leggings, striped tees, and Always Skinny Jeans!
Hurl Factor: No hurling this week. It is just the full factor effect. There seems to be less room in there to fit all the foods I am craving.
Annoyances: Trying to squeeze my sausage feet into all my cute fall boots is pretty difficult. You would think that just having to pull them on wouldn’t be that hard of a task, but I swear it takes me like 10 minutes.
Weekly Highlight: I was so excited to get one of the walls finished for the nursery! I find myself going into the room just to smile at it. Now I am on the hunt for the perfect crib and glider.
What was your biggest nursery splurge?

For iron try floradix. I have the same problem and it works so much better than the pills and tastes good! I had to order it online though.
Thanks for the tip Lisa! I will have to try it out.
