Baby showers, baby showers, and more baby showers to come! We traveled to Kansas this weekend to attend a wonderful friend’s baby shower and for a party of our own. My heart is full anytime I get to spend time with friends and family. I wish we all lived closer together, but we feel so blessed to have so many people that love us and our little guy so much already. With lots of travel time over the weekend, I had plenty of time to find my favorites of the week for this week’s edition of Sally’s Pins.
A Happy & Modern Housewarming Brunch: I love the idea of having a Cereal Bar for a sleepover party. There is so many colorful breakfast options to choose from.
Combo Necklace: Take two necklaces and hook their clasps together to create one long piece. They look so cute together, but I bet they are stunning on their own as well. I want to add both of these necklaces to my collection.
S’mores Station: This would be perfect for a cool evening sitting by the fire pit. There is something about melted marshmallows that is simply irresistible.
15 Free Halloween Decorations: It’s not too late to decorate for Halloween. These free decorations make it easy and possible to do at the last minute.
Mama’s Pecan Pie: In my opinion, when it comes to Thanksgiving pies, Pecan Pie takes the cake. Luckily, it’s one of the few days of the year you can forget about calories.
Year Round Summer Dress: Layer a sweater over a summer dress, add tights and boots. This is a great way to stretch your wardrobe and hopefully my maternity options.
Trix Krispies: What a colorful twist on the classic Rice Krispie. These would brighten up any kid’s party.
HomeGoods Clearance Bowl as DIY Ceiling Fixture: Too many of the rooms in my house have the lovely light fixture I like to refer to as the “boob light.” This might be the perfect solution to spice things up.
Shelly’s Pancake Bites: Use your favorite pancake mix, pour into muffin tins, add fruit, nuts, sausage, bacon, chocolate chips, etc. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes. Yum!
Skinny Mushroom Stroganoff: This looks too good to be healthy, but coming from Skinnytaste, you know it’s got to be true. My mouth is watering just looking at the creamy mushrooms.
7 Foods That Boost Every Type of Bad Mood: 7 foods that boost any type of bad mood! What to eat when you’re feeling stressed, cranky, sad and more.
Black Raspberry-Brie Bites: I can’t escape Pinterest without seeing another Brie recipe to add to the list. I can’t wait to try these savory treats!
Weight Watcher’s Crock Pot Meals: I totally understand the Crock Pot craze. Being tired all the time makes me lean on my old friend when planning meals. It’s nice to have some healthy go-to options to work with.
38 Random Acts of Robyn: This woman did 38 random acts of kindness on her 38th birthday. Wouldn’t it be great to spend every birthday that way?
DIY Headboard: I am dying to do a bedroom make-over, and I particularly like the look of this DIY Headboard. It is so classy with its neutral color and nailhead detail.
What is the next project on your list?
