Enjoy ever single moment. The good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, the inspiring, the not-so-glamorous moments, and thank God through it all.
Something crazy happened back in April. I started eating meat, and not just any meat. Instead of going with an easy transition like chicken, I ordered a Black and Blue Salad from Panera.
My co-workers were quite surprised by my actions, but I assumed it was because I had been spending so much time with my bacon-loving friend, Emily. By no means did I suspect that I was pregnant at this point, and perhaps my body was craving some protein.
I don’t eat meat on a daily basis, and when I do eat it, I make sure to go with more animal friendly options like Whole Foods and Chipotle because I am still very against factory farming. I focus on listening to my body, and I only eat it when I really am craving it. When I skip eating meat I make sure to load up on lots of vegetarian protein options.
My cravings came on in a wave. As quickly as the came, they soon were gone and were replaced with a stage where I am very much repulsed by meat. Now I desire eating meat alternatives like…
Buffalo Chicken Pizza

¼ cup red onion, chopped
1/3 cup blue cheese crumbles
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spread wing sauce over naan.
2. Prepare Buffalo Wings in microwave as directed.
3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over pizzas.
4. Top with chopped Buffalo Wings, red onion, and blue cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.
One of my best friends, Amanda, is a month ahead of me in the pregnant game, and she told me all she craves is anything involving wing sauce. Naturally since that conversation, the vinegar-packed, heat sauce was on my mind, and this pizza was the only solution.
Buffalo Chicken Pizza brings the heat with the perfect amount of savory toppings. I was on cloud nine eating every bite!
