I believe that everyone else my age is an adult whereas I am merely in disguise.

I will take rain any day in September as long as it brings gorgeous 70-degree weather with it! It made for such a nice weekend, and I managed to dodge most of the drizzle Saturday spending the day at the Cooper House WordPress Workshop. It could not have came at a more convenient time after running into some issues updating my blog Thursday night. I learned so many new tips that will hopefully make this site a better/more efficient place to visit. That way you will not miss out on any of my great finds on Pinterest. Here is this week’s edition of Sally’s Pins:

10 Stylish Fall Ideas for your Front Porch: Another reason Fall is my favorite season is because there are so many creative options for sprucing up your front porch. This is a great site for dreaming up ideas.

Laura Bush’s Texas Governor’s Mansion Cowboy Cookies: Just by looking at these cookies I know they are going to be delicious. When it comes to a cookie, the chunkier the better.

DIY Play Teepee: Even though it is going to be a year or so before the babe can enjoy hiding out in a Teepee, I am still dying to start this DIY project. I guess Chris could enjoy it in the meantime.

15 Fantastic Dips: Wow, there are so many different options with these dips, and they all make my mouth water. Playing the favorite game, I might have to pick the Hot White Bean Dip.

Miniature Mounted Minagerie: I love the 3D effect of this art project. It is like the animals are coming out to play with you. Plus I can’t get enough of the gold and white combo.

No-Bake Energy Bites: These are like a better version of a homemade granola bar, and they can be nicely stacked into a bowl for serving…or devouring.

9 Ways to Design Around a TV: TV consoles can be hard to plan around, so here is nine great ways to work around it. I am telling you this girl’s designs really are “censational”.

Slow Cooker Three Bean Minestrone: Thank you cooler temps for making me want to eat nothing but soup. I love a hearty minestrone, and this one is loaded with all the necessary goodies.

Flower Rocket: Gardening is one of my biggest challenges with my home. Throwing something into a pot and watering, though, is something I might be able to handle.

8-Week Program to Quit Sugar: I wish I could quit sugar all together, but just being able to cut back on it would be a win in my book. Hopefully, this guide will help!

60 Years of Memories: I cry at anything these days, but this is a truly touching gift from a daughter to her father. She collected memories from people who had contributed to his past. Daughter of the year award here!

Tip to Sort Out Old Clothes: Starting at the beginning of the year, flip all your hangers so after six months you can tell what did not get worn. I might extend mine to one year, but I am totally doing this.

Painting Laminate Furniture: I admit I own some ugly laminate furniture. Maybe my opinion of it would change if a I gave it a fresh coat of paint.

34 Photoshop Tutorials That Will Leave You Looking Like A Pro: They say if you don’t use it you lose it, and easily navigate through photoshop is something I have lost. I am hoping these tutorials will be a great refresher course.

Crib Rail Turned Book Shelf: What a great solution! The cribs that can be turned into headboards just really are not my kind of thing, but I do like this idea of a bookshelf. I got to remember to do this down the road.

What did you do with your old crib?
