Flip’s Wine Bar & Trattoria
As we grow up, we realize it is less important to have lots of friends, and more important to have real ones.

It’s weird. By Friday, I felt well enough to go out with my friends, but for some reason now, I feel worse than I did all last week. Smokey bars and alcohol must not correlate with getting over a nasty cold. Even though I feel awful now, being with my friends was totally worth it.
For a recap of our weekend, we watched the Cotton Bowl Friday night at The Fox and Hound, ate lunch at Big Truck Tacos Saturday…
Spent a few too many hours shopping…
Had an astounding dinner at Flip’s Wine Bar & Trattoria.
A Caesar salad with sun dried tomatoes to start.
But my entrée really took the cake. I had the grilled salmon, which came on a bed of spinach with roasted garlic and tomatoes.
Afterwards we went to my favorite bar, 51st Street Speakeasy.
Where we made some friends…
Had some drinks, took a tour of the members only room, shut down the bar, and then cabbed it home. Such a success!
Tonight I am taking it easy, watching The Bachelor, and keeping my fingers crossed that I wake up and feel like a million bucks tomorrow.
Do you think Bachelor Ben will kiss every one of the girls tonight?
