30 Second Salsa
Neal: We brought you a deli platter.
Lily: Yeah, what better way to celebrate the death of an animal than with other dead animals.
WHITNEY
That quote is one reason why I am a mostly vegetarian…meat grosses me out! On a positive note, the program Whitney is by far the best new show on television. It is going to give Modern Family a run for the money this year. I was so excited tonight when I realized it was on. Almost as excited as I was when Chris opened the front door to this…
We weren’t quite sure what could possibly be in this box. It reminded me of the mini boxes of worms Chris picks up before a fishing trip, so I was freaked out by the thought of what was in there. A mass amount of deer meat??? Then we opened it to discover…
an assortment from The Honeybaked Ham Company, which included…
CHEESECAKE, large ham, and some Starbucks coffee. It was kind of random, but I’ll take it! Chris said it was from an oil and gas servicing company that works with him. Score! I was not going to pass this up…
and neither was Nellie and Doug…
The cheesecake we tried tonight was so yummy!
I love cheesecake, but anyone who knows me knows that I love SALSA! I wanted to give everyone a real simple spin on homemade salsa that Chris and I love to make.
H&H Brand 30 Second Salsa
This is all you will need to make this salsa in 30 seconds:
Pour diced tomatoes into a blender and add a scoop of seasoning.
Blend ingredients until they are smooth.
That’s it. Literally, you have instant salsa. I like to put mine in the fridge for an hour or so because I like it hot, but cold too. We found this amazing mix at the state fair here in Oklahoma. We liked it so much we ordered another package from the H&H company online.
I also totally love our Magic Bullet. It was a Christmas gift from Chris’ grandmother.
She is sooo sweet and thoughtful! I never realized how much I liked things from infomercials until I met the bullet. It is so easy to blend something up and throw the cup into the dishwasher, especially healthy smoothies. I like to keep it simple.
