Sally’s Pins
I have learned that faith means trusting in advance what will only make sense in reverse.

Every weekend needs one lazy day. After a super productive day Saturday, my Sunday failed in comparison. I don’t know if it was the slightly cooler temps or what, but Saturday I was woman on a mission. From hitting up the garage sales to Bagel Cafe to furniture shopping, I squeezed everything in. It felt so nice to be productive, and what is more productive than browsing on Pinterest? Here’s this week’s edition of Sally’s Pins:
Ombre Accent Wall: Last week I fell in love with ombre furniture. This week it’s ombre walls. They are the perfect accent wall.
Pudding Cups: These are like waffle bowls on crack, and it looks like something I could actually do.
Ice Cream Cone Balloon: Why didn’t I think of this? This is a perfect decoration for any party.
Love Ring: With ever expanding fingers, this might be a better solution until my wedding ring fits again.
Fall Outfit: I’m starting to wonder if I will ever be able to wear Fall clothing again with these insane temps. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for an October boot season.
Game Night Party Ideas: I am all about game night. These ideas make me want to throw a game night party with Domino Cookies.
Layers of Love Chocolate Brownies: Brownie with a layer of Snicker’s goodness, sign me up! A good brownie always involves nuts in my opinion, and these brownies are loaded with them.
Potato Chip Cookie: This takes the cake (or cookie) for sweet and savory. I can just imagine the delicious crunch of potato chips in each bite.
DIY Letter Art: Modge podge newspaper to canvas, stick on letters, paint over, and then peel off the letters. Art doesn’t have to be complicated to look tasteful.
Golf Theme Party: Being the daughter of an avid golfer, this party theme might come in handy. I just love the height added from the flag.
Football Pizza: Football season is weeks away and I am dying with anticipation. I might have to make this pizza just to hold me over.
Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Croutons: In college, grilled cheese and tomato soup was my favorite meal. These croutons are just precious, and everything can be eaten with a spoon. No dunking necessary.
Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra Earrings: I would die for these earrings. Even though they are simple stud, they have such a huge impact with their bold color choice.
Tacky Christmas Party Attire: I love a good tacky Christmas party, and it doesn’t get much tackier than this outfit!
33 Ways to Stay Creative: This is a great list to turn to when writer’s block takes over. Some days I just don’t feel creative, and this list really would help me to slow down and re-energize myself.
How do you stay creative?
